I sound like every other complaint here......same old story..... I wished I had used a custom builder and spent a little more money. I probably saved $50K off of the custom home we wanted to build but I know it would have been a MUCH better home and investment. The ONLY reason we chose Lennar is because of the price and we were only planning on living in the home less than 10 years...but wouldn't... Read more

Lennar homes and GE have sold appliances that are unacceptable. Top load washer would only partially fill with water. It squealed so loudly that it could be heard out side through the walls. Repair man said that was normal for these appliances. Problem is it didn't clean laundry. - Gave it away to Goodwill. Dryer didn't dry. "Oh it's working fine" according to the service tech. Gave it too away... Read more

The sales rep at Lennar Homes pulled a bait and switch on us. He quoted a price $15k below the asking price on a nearly finished home. We worked with a lender from Lennar's inhouse mortgage company, who was given the same quote. He prequalified us and gave us the financial sheets showing all of the escrow costs, apr rate, etc. 24 hours later we were ready to put down the deposit and sign the... Read more

Lennar Colonial Heritage has the wisdom to fire subcontractors and managers and then hire these incompetents back. The houses look good but are not and fall apart fast. At Colonial Heritage the main problem is rain water runoff, the place floods with a simple light rain and stays wet forever, roads unfinished are washing away, houses are leaking. Lennar has to be in bed with James City... Read more

They were in Here doing the one yr, the guy did the nail pops and left. I took two days planned per the coordinator and only saw that guy. Not too mention I dull have blue tape and spots bc they didn't come back to paint! Its been a week,... Read more

We were ok with this price so happy with the price. Was sent an email saying a lot just was released for the home you want and when you want to close. After careful inspection of the kitchen area, the following concerns exist and have been acknowledged by all parties above. 1. The kitchen tile in the foyer, main powder room, hallway and kitchen is not laid correctly and on an angle. 2. The kitchen upper cabinets have been installed incorrectly and the back skin is bowed, leaving a space in the front of the cabinet and making it impossible to... Read more

On November 16th, 2014 I initiated a customer care request for numerous defective areas of sheet rock taping and seams coming undone in my home with my home builder Lennar Homes. On 11/20/2014 two representatives from Lennar came to my home and inspected the areas and concluded I had an issue and would get back to me. After 3 weeks of no response they responded a week later on 12/16/2014 and told... Read more

The company doesn't live up to it's end of the bargain with regards to warranty work timelines. Poor workmanship; floors are creaking like a 20 year old house after only 2 years. Cheap materials are used, even in "luxury" package. Lip stick on a pig is still a pig. Add comment
